Berka Pumping station: Jan 2016
Al Berka pumping station finded by Turkish Government and completed in 2011.
The station has been unused but should have ample camapity to handle population now being connected by the new propsed sewerage network.
The pumping station is fitted with generator and the powersupply appear satisfactory. Of cause tests will tell in once wastewater is connected.

US support for nearby water reservoir ..date:
USAID is providing support to the construction of a water reservoir nearby and very close the Al Berka wastewater pumping station. It appears appropriate that a sewer network in introduced to handle the wastewaters and to prevent groundwater contamination.
