Palestinian Water Authority in the project client for this project buy in general the regulator authority in Palestine responsible for management of water and wastewater resources

CMWU

The Coastal Municipalities Water Utility ( CMWU) is a semi-public entity financially independent, responsible for the water supply services, wastewater treatment , disposal and storm water collection.

This project will be implemented in close cooperation and coordination of PWA Gaza office and CMWU.
EU : Funding agency
The EU has allocated a grant though the German Development Bank (KFW) for the construction of two wastewater networks to serve the people in Jubalia and Beit Lahia in the Gaza Strip. For this purpose the EU has allocated EUR 3.3 million for the project.
German Technical Cooperation GIZ
GIZ as been providing technical support in Palestine since 198o and have currently over 100 staff in Palestine to provide technical assistance and GIZ has an office in Gaza. Though their staff they provide technical assistance to prioritized projects but also the many of the projects funded though KFW.
KFW
German Development Bank (KFW) will be managing the funding for the project on behalf of the EU.

Norplan (Norway) was selected as the main consultant for the review, final design and construction supervision of the project, working with its local partner CEP.
